Phononic Appoints Gulbin Hoeberechts as Chief Marketing Officer to Lead Growth Strategy

Seasoned marketing executive brings extensive food, beverage and consumer packaged goods experience to solid state cooling innovator

Phononic, a global leader in solid state cooling technology, announced the appointment of Gulbin Hoeberechts as Chief Marketing Officer. As CMO, Gulbin will leverage her deep experience with global brands to amplify Phononic’s mission to sustainably transform global cooling and heating through solid state innovation, spearheading marketing strategy and execution. Gulbin will be responsible for driving disruptive growth across the company’s portfolio: LiDAR/Automotive; Cold Chain/Last Mile; and its newly emerging licensing efforts in HVAC and consumer products. Her passion for sustainability and building brand equity will position Phononic to drive the inevitability of solid state cooling solutions across diverse global markets.

Gulbin has held executive and senior marketing leadership roles locally and globally, leading marketing, innovation and brand management functions in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)/Cold Chain and consumer technology industries. As the former senior vice president of marketing at AAA Smart Home Security, she was responsible for creating the marketing and sales teams from the ground up to achieve double digit new sales and revenue growth for four years in a row through effective marketing and sales implementations.

Prior to AAA Smart Home Security where she became seasoned in marketing technology solutions, Gulbin led brands like Häagen-Dazs and Carte D’Or Ice Cream while working for global organizations such as Nestlé and Unilever. She also has experience in bringing innovative solutions to market as a founder of a successful natural food business. Throughout her career, Gulbin has received multiple awards and achievements such as the Bay Area Best Marketer Award, Nestlé CEO Outstanding Marketer and Nestlé Global Innovation Awards, as well as NEXTY and Target Atlas Competition.
